Outlook Summer Programs

Outlook Summer Programming

The Outlook Summer Programming is a continuum of integrated, family-centered skill building programs for at-risk children and their families. They provide an opportunity to jump start a resiliency journey whether you're looking to prevent summer slide or infuse existing family services with a shot of B12.

The programs aim to build a secure foundational pattern of attachment, self-regulation and social skills with your child/youth and then actively bridge that skill building framework to the family and community care providers with a progression of family and community engagement activities.

Our Hands United process artfully blends the evidenced-based practices with outdoor adventure activities to create a supercharged experiential learning process. Participants will leave with an improved ability to: connected with care providers, self-regulate emotions and behavior, get along with peers and adults, and solve problems within their homes, schools and community.

Outlook Summer Programming provides youth with:

ADVENTURE: Summer is about creating moments of shared joy and summer magic. It's fun in the sun, long afternoons at the swimming hole or stomping through your favorite hidden creek. Excited day trips to the Dells, team challenge course and outdoor survival skills.

PERSONAL GROWTH: Programming attendees have a chance to learn new skills, develop confidence, and independence by taking on new responsibilities and challenges.

MEMORIES: Outlook Summer Programming is an unforgettable experience, bringing individuals together around experiential activities they may not otherwise be exposed to, or think to try. These experiences will give each participant memories that will last a lifetime.
